Dr. Henry L. Croft, Jr. a native of southwestern Pennsylvania, always knew he wanted to be a veterinarian when he grew up. After graduating from Norwin High School, he attended Penn State University to obtain his bachelor’s degree. In 1978 he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania – College of Veterinary Medicine. Two years after graduating Dr. Croft founded Loyalhanna Veterinary Clinic. Over the years Dr. Croft has owned many different pets, including farm animals and house pets. He currently has a dog and a cat. Dr. Croft is a family man; he enjoys spending time with his wife Tina, his daughter Chynna, his son-in-law Jon, his grandsons Barrett and Austin, his stepson Jeremy, and his mother Jimmie. When Dr. Croft is not seeing patients, he can be found outside somewhere, either gardening or tinkering with a project, if not with his grandkids. Dr. Croft bleeds black and gold for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and enjoys watching Penn State football. He also enjoys being involved in the community. Recently he has presented several talks on ticks to the local Rotary and Gardening club. He, with the help of his staff, is starting a “Tick Talk” on TikTok. Dr. Croft strives to learn something new every day and to be better than he was the day before.
